Fr. Pat Travers
Fr. Dan Hebert
Father Dan Hebert was born in Kankakee, Illinois, on February 20, 1950. He attended Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Grade School, then graduatd from Bishop McNamara High school in 1968. He entered the Brothers of Charity in 1969. He made his profession of vows on February 20, 1971, and was then transferred to Anchorage, AK, along with two other Brothers from his community. He was assigned to work in parishers with religious education programs while attending school.
In August of 1973 he began studies for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Anchorage at Holy Trinity Seminary. Part of his studies were at the University of Dallas where he received a BA degree in Philosophy and a Master of Divinity in Theology. He was ordained a Priest for the Archdiocese of Anchorage by Archbishop Francis T. Hurley on May 5, 1979.
Following ordination Father Dan has pastored several parishes in the Archdiocese and serves as Parochial Administor at Holy Cross Parish. He considers the most rewarding part of ministry is working directly with people. He has a passion for providing spiritual direction. Father Dan says "Without a doubt being a Priest is what God has called me to be. ...... I love being a priest.".

DEacon Bill Finnegan
Deacon Bill and his wife, Diane, joined Holy Cross Parish in 1992. They were married in 1964 and have 4 children & 6 grandchildren. He was ordained as a Permanent Deacon in 1981 in Memphis, TN. He received a degree in Canon Law from Catholic University in 1991. He and Diane spend part of the year in Arizona. He is also assigned to All Saints Parish in Mesa, AZ. Deacon Bill functions as a Judge in the Tribunals of Anchorage and Phoenix.

Irma & Adrian Guerrero
Adrian and Irma were both born and raised in Texas. Adrian retired as a public school administrator after 32 years. Irma was a school security guard and retired after 25 years. They love to travel, and after retirement, decided to move to Anchorage. They love it here, and have been here 4 years.
CHelsea Higgins
Chelsea Higgins began serving as Holy Cross' Administrative Assistant on April 20. She brings a strong administrative skill set. As a lifelong Catholic, wife, and mother of four, Chelsea is looking forward to working within a parish in a role that enables her to balance faith, family, and community life.

Jerica Manaois

Jerica was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska since 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree at University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) on May 2023. She is currently working full-time at Holy Cross as a Faith Formation Director.
Jerica is also the Altar Server Coordinator at the church. Altar Servers help the priest or deacon at the Altar. The ministry is for kids who received their First Communion and can serve until 12th grade. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server, call/text at 230-9418.

rYAN mELITON
Ryan is our parish’s liturgical accompanist. He coordinates music ministry with Sheila Soukup and provides music at all Masses and special liturgical celebrations.
